QuestNet Fraud Allegations

Unfortunately and like most MLM companies, allegations of QuestNet being a fraud or scam occassionally surface on the Internet. Again, like most MLM companies, it is mostly due to a small minority of overzealous IRs who misrepresent the company and its opportunities – selling the idea of being able to easily make obscene profits with little to no effort at all.

The problem is compounded by its sheer size, because it is naturally difficult to control 5 million members spread across 160 countries.

What QuestNet did was to publish a comprehensive Code of Ethics to guide IRs on how to sell responsibly to their potential downlines. It also presented an avenue for complainants to communicate directly with the company and take action against rogue IRs who did not play by the book.

Another interesting website that addresses these allegations is the QuestNet Scam site. You see, websites on the Internet sometimes (infact, most of the time) report only the sensational news, e.g. about employees being arrested, products confiscated and company banned from operating - because this is what sells! They are not interested in writing follow-up reports when the employees are released or management acquitted because of wrongful arrest.

And then there are competitors, jealous of the company's success, that pose false allegations on the Internet and hiding behind the anonymity provided by public blogs and forums.

These irresponsible actions, combined with the existence of search engines like Google to index the negative news, gives the public a wrong perception about the company. Believe it or not, the only solution is to sue the news source or publisher (i.e. Google is not obligated to investigate nor remove false news), which is quite impossible when they are living on the other side of the world.

Hence, the QuestNet Scam site provides a platform for the company to explain the situation, often publishing proof from local dailies to back their defence.
